Unity Project: October - Blessing
This month, I suggest we get back in touch with an act that we have practiced for millennia, but rarely use today. This is probably due to the fact that we gave it too much of a religious connotation. I am talking about Blessing.
This is what Madeleen Du Bois reveals in her book "Le Pouvoir de la Bénédiction".
The term to Bless is defined in the dictionary as "A pronouncement invoking divine aid" saying something good about someone or something, which has nothing to do with neither holy water nor the sign of the cross! The conveying of ones' blessings is a thought, an act of conscience.
We were created perfect, powerful and free. We were given the power to bless. It allows us to change things and deify them, that is, to make them divine. We can surmount any problem whatsoever and bring out the best in everything.
However, let us never forget that when we bestow our blessings, we don't make happen what we want, what we wish or hope for. We make happen what is best for us and it is as it should be.
Through blessing, every situation will change in the best interest of all concerned.
Through blessing, we are united because we are all ONE. If I bless another, I bless myself and in turn reap the benefits. To bless is to surround a person or a situation with light. It is a way of saying Let there be light… and then to wait trustingly for the results. Blessing makes life better on every level.
This is why this month, I suggest as Madeleen DuBois explains, that we reinstate the noble act of blessing into our lives. Blessing soothes us and allows us to soothe others.
Let us use this wonderful tool to create a peaceful and harmonious Universe.
Namaste,
